About

Attorney Michael J. Uhl represents individuals and businesses in all matters of state and federal criminal defense. After more than 20 years as a federal and state prosecutor, Michael now puts his education and experience to work defending the criminally accused in cases ranging from white collar crimes to murder charges and federal drug crimes.

After earning his J.D. from Southern Methodist University School of Law in Dallas, Michael spent many years practicing as a state and federal prosecutor — with 14 years as an assistant United States attorney where he investigated and prosecuted nearly every type of criminal matter. He also oversaw the work of other prosecutors, advising their work in areas of white collar crime and numerous other areas of criminal law.

Michael stays abreast of the ever-changing legal landscape with his involvement in the legal community and as an adjunct professor at Dedman SMU School of Law.
